23 days left ....it's coming fast...and we cannot wait anymore...I read as much as I could find about Greenland and guess what ? I fell in love with it. Climate and life are harsh and hard, up there, but ask any Inuit if he / she wants to go away and live in another country...the answer is NO.

Ilulissat is half way between the south and north influences. If you really want to experience real Greenland, Ilulissat is your startpoint.

As you can see, the 2 countries are not quite cheap Tips But money matters have never stopped us traveling...we're not rich, but we live minimalistic. We're not consumption minded, except for our travels Tips, we cannot stop 'consuming' places on Earth.

18.05.2016

Here we are...tired and fed up with scams...yes, we're in Iceland all right...but about scams, later on...need hiking gear or camping items, GPS Iceland Edition: don't look too much around, I found a cheap gear rental in REK : https://www.iceland-camping-equipment.com/

Don't load yourself and pay fees for over weight at the airline counter...the prices of this shop are cheaper than the fees !!

We'll talk about GPS later...it's a serious issue, if you don't have a smartphone with the latest edition of Iceland map...and the map...first, you need to find it :)

Iceland is 6% more expensive than last month. This was the first bad news.
